About Khehla's African paintings

South African artist Khehla is internationally recognised for the distinctive contemporary style he has developed and refined over the past 20 years. Khehla's style is based in traditional African techniques and designs.

Khehla paints what he knows: African animals, people, communities and villages. He uses warm colours, oranges, browns and yellows, that in turn give warmth to your home.

Each painting is created on a canvas of cotton twill (fabric woven with a pattern of diagonal, parallel ribs). His artworks are highly textured, creating the effect of stained glass.

Khehla's unique art is now available for you to display in your own home. Each painting is original and signed by the artist.
